Senior member of the Johore Bar, S Patmanathan who was a Consultant to the firm of M/s Atikah Lau & Chai passed away peacefully on Tuesday the 16th June 2009.
He was 71. Born on January 11, 1938, S Patmanathan was called to the Malaysian Bar on 20th June 1971. He was a Barrister-At-Law of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, London.
He was also a member of the Chartered Institute of Chartered Arbitrators of the United Kingdom and a member of the Malaysian branch. In 2000 he served on the panel of Mediators of the Malaysian Bar Council.
He has been a Consultant in the firm of M/s Atikah Lau & Chai from 2001.
