The Johore Bar Committee (JBC) has recently come to know that with effect from 13th February 2024 the maximum folders for registration at Strata Department Pejabat Tanah And Galian Johor (PTG) has been reduced to 50 folders per day (excluding caveat and public counters). The previous limit was 100 folders per day.
Kindly be informed that there were no advance notice or discussions with the Committee about this. The Committee is aware of potential issues from the reduction of the number of folders and is currently liaising with the respective officers at PTG on the matter. Members will be advised of further development in due course.
