By JBC Circular No. 53/2021, the JBC embarked on collecting information from members who had not received their vaccine appointments. As at 5.7.2021, the JBC collected 643 names. We are happy to update that this was submitted to Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Johor (“JKNJ”) and the said list was acknowledged by JKNJ by letter dated 13.7.2021.
Concurrent with the JBC’s efforts for vaccine prioritisation for members to JKNJ, the JBC had also written to the Johor Menteri Besar to request for similar vaccine allocation to our members and firm staff.
We have been recently contacted by the Johor State Secretary Office (“SUK Johor”) informing that our application has been accepted and the JBC has been asked to submit names of members, pupils and firm staff of whom have not received their first dose appointments. We are informed that the SUK will seek to boost appointment dates for applicants. We also have been notified of the recent availability of ‘walk in’ vaccination centers (“PPV”).
Due to this, if any members, pupils or firm staff whom have not received their first dose appointment, please take the following steps –
- If available, please head to your nearest ‘walk-in’ PPV to obtain your vaccination; or
- Fill out this form, at with your details.
The JBC will be submitting this information to the SUK Johor on 20.9.2021 and 27.9.2021. Members are encouraged to register early.
