The Professional Development & Education Sub-Committee is organizing a seminar on “Value Creation by Transactional Lawyer: Lawyering in the Disruptive AI and Technology Driven Era.”
Members will be able to explore the evolving role of transactional lawyers in an era increasingly shaped by disruptive technologies, particularly artificial intelligence (AI). As innovation accelerates across industries, transactional lawyers must adapt their practices to meet the legal challenges and opportunities presented by technological disruption. The session will begin by examining the value creation role of transactional lawyers in international and domestic commercial transactions. We will then transition to discuss how the rapid adoption of AI and emerging technologies – such as blockchain, data privacy tools, and automation-has transformed the landscape of legal practice.
