Dear Members,
Please be informed that, effective today, the courts in Johor will adhere to the newly designated weekend of Saturday and Sunday, in line with the guidelines issued by the Johor State Government dated 11 December 2024, a copy of which is enclosed herein.
Due to this adjustment, a state holiday (Hari Kelepasan Am Johor) has been declared on Monday, 6 January 2025. We trust that members with matters scheduled on this date have been or will be contacted by their respective courts to reschedule their hearings. Similarly, hearings previously fixed on Sundays are also being rescheduled accordingly.
Members are encouraged to monitor updates or communications from the courts and liaise directly with the court registry for further clarification or to confirm rescheduling arrangements.
