This Seminar is catered and geared towards members or pupils who have yet handled any conveyancing matters or those who are planning to venture into conveyancing practice. The aim of this seminar is to provide a step-by-step guide on basic conveyancing practice, including understanding the different types of conveyancing file and conveyancing process flows.
Please also take note that the Johore Bar Building, House, Library and Member’s Welfare Committee have also organised a special health talk by KPJ Johor Specialist Hospital, followed by a complementary simple individualised health assessment for the members of Johore Bar present on the day. Members who do not attend the Conveyancing Seminar as above are still welcomed and are encouraged to join the talk at 11:30 am.

About the Speaker
Zemilah Mohd Noor holds an LLB (Hons) degree from the International Islamic University Malaysia (“IIUM”) and was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1995. She has experience in the conveyancing discipline, with a focus in real estate projects, Islamic finance and banking, commercial business, and start-ups advisory. She is a senior partner in EzriLaw. She is currently the Deputy Chairperson of the Bar Council Conveyancing Practice Committee and a member of the Penang Bar Committee’s Conveyancing Practice Subcommittee. She was previously the Chairperson of the Penang Bar Committee’s Conveyancing Practice and Islamic Finance Subcommittee for a few terms. She also actively contributes as a member of the Bar Council Islamic Finance Committee and as a member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Advocates and Solicitors Disciplinary Board. She periodically engages with the Penang Lands and Mines Office, the Penang Inland Revenue Department, and other state agencies to resolve ever-evolving conveyancing issues. To earnestly contribute to other conveyancing practitioners, she regularly attends and speaks at various seminars throughout Malaysia on conveyancing.
