Please be informed that the Continuing Professional Development and the Publications & Information Technology Sub-Committees of the Johore Bar Committee are organising the above titled Webinar.

About the Speakers

Aarthi Jeyarajah runs her own practice in the name of Aarthi & Associates (a member of the RL Group Law Practice) and is a civil and commercial litigator with varied experience in handling contractual claims, commercial disputes, tortious claims, defamation actions, claims in relation to trust and debt recovery litigation. She is also experienced in conducting judicial review matters with a keen interest in the area of law involving the Housing Development (Control and Licensing) Act 1966. She is a regular contributing editor of the “Malaysian Civil Procedure” (White Book) by Sweet & Maxwell and also contributes to a chapter in the practitioner’s textbook “Law and Practice of Injunctions in Malaysia”.

Nimalan Devaraja is a partner in the Dispute Resolution Department of Skrine. He is a commercial litigator who primarily practices in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, company law and shareholders’ disputes, international arbitration, restructuring and insolvency, and regulatory enforcement. He is a Contributing Editor to the Annotated Statutes of Malaysia (Limitation Act 1953 and Partnership Act 1961), and the Malaysian Court Practice (Trial Courts). He was listed as one of ALB Malaysia’s Rising Stars 2021.
