Please be informed that Pejabat Tanah dan Galian Johor (PTG) has notified the Johore Bar Committee (JBC) regarding the closure of their counter and the Sistem Hasil Tanah Johor for operations.
The closure will commence on 24th December 2024 (from 5:00 pm onwards) and will continue until 31st December 2024. Operations for the said systems will resume as usual on 1st January 2025. Refer to Appendix A here.
Additionally, following the recent meeting between PTG and the JBC Subcommittee, PTG has confirmed the following:
1. Termination of EFT Payments: PTG will no longer accept EFT payments. Moving forward, payments can only be made via:
- Cash (until further notice)
- Bank Draft
- Debit Card
- Credit Card
In this regard, PTG kindly requests cooperation from legal firms to ensure the completion of all transactions with the Johor Land and Mines Office by 15th December 2024, Refer to Appendix B here.
2. E-Land Search Implementation:
- E-Land Search for the Strata Department will commence on 1st January 2025.
- E-Land Search for the Landed Department will commence in March 2025.
There is no limit to the number of searches. The searches will utilize JohorPay as the payment platform.
3. Quit Rent Payment (E-Petak): Payment for quit rent through E-Petak will begin on 1st January 2025.
4. Official Land Search via E-Search: You may continue to perform official land searches via the E-Search system. However, for hardcopy documents, collection at the counter will still be required, as the officer’s signature is necessary.
