Following the extension of the Full Movement Control Order (“FMCO”) beginning from 29 June 2021, the following updates were received concerning Court operations in Johor.
BATU PAHAT SUBORDINATE COURTS
The Duty Schedule for the Magistrates and the lower court staff, including the conduct of proceedings at the Batu Pahat Subordinate Courts are provided in the letter dated 28 Jun 2021 issued by Tuan Azman bin Mustapha, Judge of the Batu Pahat Subordinate Courts.
BATU PAHAT MAGISTRATE’S COURTS [CIVIL]
By letter issued by the Puan Nurasidah Binti A. Rahman Magistrate Batu Pahat Magistrate’s Court, JBC was notified as follows:-
- all trials are vacated and rescheduled as provided in said letter;
- matters set for e-Review remain unchanged;
- email addresses of contact persons for cases to be conducted via remote communication technology are provided in the letter.
JOHOR BAHRU HIGH COURT FORECLOSURE PROCEEDINGS (CODE 38)
All hearings, case managements and manual auctions are rescheduled per letter dated 28 Jun 2021 from Tuan Mohd Farid Nazzrin bin Ahmad, Senior Assistant Registrar High Court Johor Bahru.
JOHOR BAHRU LOWER COURTS (CIVIL AND CRIMINAL)
The Duty Schedule for the Magistrates and the lower court staff, including the conduct of proceedings at the Johor Bahru Lower courts, both civil and criminal, are provided in the notice.
