The Malaysian Bar’s International Malaysia Law Conference 2023 (“IMLC”) will take place between 27th – 30th October 2026 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (‘MITEC’) in Kuala Lumpur. The theme of the Conference is “Maintaining Core Principles in a Time of Change”. Further information on the Conference programme maybe seen at Circular No. 151/2026 and at https://www.imlc.com.my
Kindly be informed that the Johore Bar Committee will sponsor three (3) members of the Johore Bar to participate in the Conference. The Committee will pay the Conference registration fee for the three (3) members. All other expenses such as travelling and accommodation would have to be borne by the selected members.
We welcome all members of the Johore Bar, especially younger members, at least 1-3 years in practice, to apply. Applicants will have to undergo an interview process with the Committee. The successful member will also be required to submit a report to the Committee upon completion of the Conference.
