As you are aware, Y.A Tuan Suria Kumar A/L Durairaj Johnson Paul will be transferring to Melaka High Court on 18th August 2025. Following this, the Johore Bar Committee will be hosting a farewell high-tea to mark our appreciation of YA’s tenure of service in Muar.

YA commenced service in Muar as a Judicial Commissioner since 3.10.2022 and was elevated as a Judge of the High Court of Malaya on 12.11.2024. YA has served in Muar for 3 years. YA has endeared himself to the members and has always been very supportive of the Johore Bar’s activities.
The Johore Bar Committee is also extending an invitation to all Judges and judicial officers of the High Court in North Johor.
We hope that members will give us their full support and attend this function to make this farewell a success and one to remember for YA.
