As you are aware, Y.A Dato’ Abu Bakar Bin Katar will be retiring on 15th August 2025. Following this, the Johore Bar Committee will be hosting a farewell dinner to mark our appreciation of YA’s tenure of service in Johor Bahru.

YA commenced service in Johor Bahru as a Judge on 2.12.2019. YA has served in Johor Bahru for more than 6 years. YA has endeared himself to the members and has always been very supportive of the Johore Bar’s activities.
The Johore Bar Committee is also extending an invitation to all Judges and Judicial Commissioners of the High Court in Johor.
We hope that members will give us their full support and attend this function to make this farewell a success and one to remember for YA.
