Today the Johore Bar Committee (JBC) was informed by Pejabat Tanah Dan Galian (PTG) that PTG shall continue the current system for registration of dealings at their counters during Movement Control Order (MCO) with effect from 25th May 2021.
It shall be at first come first serve basis and the maximum folders accepted shall be 150 folders per day. We are further informed that members may also use “drop box” system for searches other than for applications of waiver of restriction of interest. The operational hours for PTG shall be from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (Sunday-Wednesday) and 8:30 am to 1:30 pm (Thursday) whilst for the Land Offices is from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. Members are advised to observe the MCO’s SOP at all material time.
