In conjunction with the global efforts to encourage awareness and protect the environment, the Johore Bar Committee is organizing a recycling campaign to safely dispose unused electronics (E-Waste) and papers lying in the corner of your office or work space and homes. This campaign will be run jointly and with the support of SWM Environment.
We urge our members to take up the cause of safely and responsibly disposing of such wastes in order to protect our environment and to ensure some form of sustainability in our practice.
Details for recycling your E-Waste/Papers are as follows:
| Date: | Commencing on 18th July 2024 until 28th Aug 2024 (Mondays to Fridays). |
| Time: | 10:00am to 5:00pm |
| Place: | Please send the (E-Waste) and recyclable papers to Johore Bar Building, Ground Floor |
| Recyclables: | Printer, Scanner, Accessory, Hard Disk, CPU, Laptop, Monitor, Handphones/Tablet, Television, Mixed Papers, Books and Magazines, Cardboard or Newspaper |
Please ensure that all data and important information have been erased/cleared from the device or items to be recycled prior to sending them to Johore Bar. You will be required to sign and submit a Disclaimer Form available here to Johore Bar when you come to dispose off your E-Waste/Papers.
SWM Environment will drop by at Johore Bar to receive all the recyclable items from this Campaign on 29th Aug 2024.
