We are pleased to announce that Mr. Ravi Nekoo will be back at the Johore Bar for a seminar and workshop on “The Art of Drafting Pleadings” organised by the Professional Development & Education Sub-Committee.
During the morning session seminar, Mr. Ravi will be speaking on the dos and don’ts, the techniques and the applicable laws with the aim of providing the participants with an overview understanding of drafting pleadings. In the afternoon, there will be a workshop dedicated to hands-on practice in drafting pleadings under the guidance of our esteemed speaker, allowing participants to gain practical experience in this essential skill.

About the Speaker
RAVI NEKOO was admitted to the bar as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1995. He completed his Masters in Law and Masters in Criminal Justice at the University of Malaya. Subsequently, he was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Supreme Court of South Australia, and the High Court of Australia. With an extensive background in litigation, Mr Ravi has represented clients across all levels of the court in Malaysia. In addition to his legal practice, he is the author of the book “Malaysian Civil Procedure and Practice.” The 2nd edition of this book was recently released by Current Law Journal. He has also been a tutor for students sitting for the CLP examination for many years and Civil Procedure was one of the subjects that was taught by him. Mr Ravi Nekoo is a Partner of Messrs Nekoo.
