This course will look into the doctrine of frustration and force majeure and the effects arising out of parties being unable to fulfill their contractual obligations due to the imposition of the Movement Control Order. This course will look at the contractual remedies and rights of parties in light of the relevant laws in Malaysia.

About the Speaker
George Neo (of Messrs Yeo Chambers) is a member of the Johore Bar. He is an active litigator and his area of practice includes company law, contract law, land acquisition, tort and insurance cases. Mr. Neo acts for the Malaysian Bar scheme to defend suits filed against legal practitioners in Malaysia. He has appeared at all levels of the Courts in Malaysia.
Fadhil Ihsan will serve as Moderator for this Webinar.
