The Johore Bar Committee (“JBC”) wishes to inform members that it is fully aware of the ongoing air conditioning breakdown affecting the Johor Bahru Lower Court Building.
The JBC appreciates the inconvenience and discomfort this situation has caused to members, litigants, and all court users.
Members are assured that the Judiciary is fully apprised of the matter. The JBC has been engaging closely with the Judiciary and the relevant authorities to facilitate an expeditious resolution. We have been informed that the necessary remedial measures are being undertaken and that the issue is expected to be resolved in due course.
The JBC will continue to monitor developments closely and remain actively engaged with the relevant stakeholders until the matter has been satisfactorily resolved. Members will be kept informed of any significant updates as and when they become available.
The JBC thanks all members for their patience, understanding, and continued cooperation during this period.
