On 26th June 2012, the Statutory Rules Committees for the High Court and the Subordinate Courts met and approved the Rules of Court 2012 and fixed the 1st of August 2012 as the date of enforcement. The Rules of Court 2012 provide a common code of procedure for all civil cases in the High Court

Members may purchase the English version of the Court Rules from the Johore Bar Secretariat from Friday 17th August 2012 at the cost of RM 72.00 per copy. The Rules have incorporated the latest amendments

The Rules of Court 2012 are now in force. As the Rules are not available widely in the market yet for purchase, members have complained of difficulty in getting their copy. Thus to assist members on this, the JBC has made arrangement with Malaysian Current Law Journal (MCLJ) to make the Rules available for members
