Please be informed that the Continuing Professional Development Sub-Committee is organising a seminar on construction industry payment and adjudication Act 2012 (CIPAA 2012) (Act 746).
The seminar shall be conducted by Mr. Shamsul Bahrin Manaf, a member of the Malaysian Bar and a Partner in the firm of Messrs Mohanadass Partnership. He was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2003, and handles a diverse range of matters including land matters, industrial relations disputes, shareholders disputes, construction and commercial disputes.
The training would be a step by step introduction to adjudication under the CIPAA 2012, with the aim at providing basic knowledge on procedures of statutory adjudication, its process and enforcement of the adjudication decision.
