Dear All,
Hot on the heels of our Informal Gathering, we are organizing a trip to the Singapore Zoo open to Members of the Johore Bar, their families and friends.
As you know, the Singapore Zoo is home to the cuddly and adorable Jia Jia and Kai Kai, the giant pandas from China. The Singapore Zoo also has on show the finest menagerie and assortment of creatures from the friendly kangaroos to the slippery snakes in the Reptile Garden. And remember, the Singapore Zoo has the honour of having the world’s first free ranging orang utan habitat (the Johore Bar having the second).
There are animal feeding sessions, shows, photo opportunities and rides to thrill your children. I can guarantee that they will kiss your toes in gratitude when we return to Johor Bahru. (and after you have had a shower).
There is also a Water (theme) Park with slides to cool off after a day of walking in the luscious rainforest that is the Singapore Zoo.
Out of the goodness of my heart and the Johore Bar’s generosity, we are providing a 40 seater air conditioned bus (free of charge) for everyone along with goodie bags for the children. This means you can just sit back and relax and calculate how much you save on parking (S$4 per hour) while someone else stops your child from jumping out of the window.
So come join us as we explore the unknown. Bring out the animal in you. Appreciate nature in all its glory. Enjoy a day with your loved ones (interpret that any which way you want).
