Professionalism Online: Strengthening the Legal Industry’s Image Through Purposeful Digital Presence
Members are invited to attend the upcoming collaboration programme between the Johore Bar and MyNIC (an agency under the Ministry of Digital), aimed at elevating the digital presence of legal practitioners and law firms in Johore.

This initiative forms part of the broader MyNIC x Johore Bar collaboration focusing on technology adoption and strengthening the online presence of law firms.
Programme Objectives
The session will cover:
- Awareness of the applicable Publicity Rules and ethical parameters for online presence.
- Adoption of .my and .law.my domain names to reinforce trustworthiness and alignment with industry standards.
- Practical guidance on digital capacity building, including email/domain setup and foundational web-presence support (to be offered subsequently via MyNIC’s registrar partners).
- Introduction to the Malaysia Digital Exchange (MYDX) Legal Industry Directory for firms using .MY domains.
- Strengthening ongoing collaboration between the Johore Bar and MyNIC to support future digitalisation efforts.
