Please be informed that the Continuing Professional Development Sub-Committee is organising a workshop on basic conveyancing practice for members of the North Johore Bar.
The workshop shall be conducted by MR. ANDREW WONG, a senior member of the Malaysian Bar.
Participants will be divided into groups and each group will be required to discuss and provide answers to workshop questions.
During the workshop, the speaker will discuss housing development transactions and non-housing development transactions, the different stages of real property transactions (pre-contract, contract & post-completion); security documentation for financing acquisition of real property; preparation, execution & attestation of instrument of dealings; SRO 2005; Bar Council Rules & Rulings on conveyancing practice & other practice issues.
N.B. All participants are required to bring along a copy of the National Land Code 1965 and the Housing Development (Control & Licensing) Regulations 1989 (as amended on 01/07/2015.

Registration must be accompanied with payment to guarantee your place and is on a first-come first served basis.
