About the Speaker
Mr. Fahri Azzat, a member of the Malaysian Bar. He was called to the Malaysian Bar in 1999 and was practicing in Messrs Azzat & Izzat from 1999-2015 and thereafter his own firm namely Messrs Fahri & Co since January 2016. His diverse areas of law in criminal, civil, construction, conveyancing, arbitration, administrative and constitutional, estate administration, consumer and Shariah.
Mr Fahri is a Trainer for Advocacy Training Course since 2011 and member of the Bar Council Advocacy Training Committee in 2016-2017. Mr Fahri was also the Hon. Secretary of the Bar Council Legal Aid, KL in 2003/2004, Assistant Hon. Secretary of Bar Council Legal Aid, KL in 2004/2005, Committee member of the Bar Council Criminal Committee from 2003-2005, Bar Council Ad-Hoc Committee in respect of the Royal Commission to Enhance the Operation and Management of the Royal Police Force, and an Executive Committee member of Transparency International Malaysia from 2009-2011.
He is also the Founding member of Loyar Burok (a website and informal group) and the Malaysian Centre of Constitutionalism and Human Rights (a non-government organization); Creator and Founder of Locum Legalis, the 1st Malaysian smartphone application exclusively for lawyers to find locums to attend routine court attendances (launched in November 2015). Mr Fahri was appointed to the Governance Oversight Committee by the Minister of Human Resources for the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) in June 2018.
Registration must be accompanied with payment to guarantee your place and is on a first-come first served basis.
Members are allowed to redeem their event vouchers worth RM30.00 per event on a “first come first served basis” limited to the first five  registered participants only. The vouchers are transferable. If you are redeeming a voucher belonging to someone else, kindly provide the particulars of the original voucher holder (Name and BC member No.). Members will be required to e-mail the particulars of the voucher holder and name of the participant three  days prior to the event to firstname.lastname@example.org for verification process. If the voucher has already been redeemed, JBC reserves the absolute right to claim from the member for the costs of the event.
CPD points and Certificate of attendance will be given upon completion of the whole session to participants who have attended until the end of the event.
