The Continuing Professional Development Sub-Committee of the Johore Bar is organizing a workshop BE A TECH SAVVY LAWYER: PART 1 that will be conducted by EN. FADHIL IHSAN, a member of the Johore Bar.
Many of today’s lawyers use technology to ramp up productivity in their law practice. This half day workshop intends to teach lawyers how to incorporate technology into their work process and office management. Lawyers will be given exposure to open source tools available on the internet to integrate technology into their practice. Participants will be given demonstration on the use of free tools to create knowledge banks, documents backup, paperless office and even on maintaining your accounts. Participants are encouraged to bring all their electronic devices (laptops, tablets and mobile phones) to the course.

Fees : RM 50.00 for Members of the Johore Bar;
RM 30.00 for Pupils-in-Chambers I Law Students; and
RM 100.00 for law firm staff.
About the trainer –
EN. FADHIL IHSAN (Dale) is a young lawyer and partner at Azwad Ihsan & Co.
When he is not wearing his litigator cap, Dale carries out trainings and consultancy for government agencies and professionals under a wide array of IT topics. Dale’s main area of training and consultancy include web application development and database management. Dale is a supporter of the Open-source movement and is an advocate of the GNU Manifesto.
