The Continuing Professional Development Sub-Committee of the Johore Bar is organizing a SEMINAR ON CONVEYANCING PRACTICE AND RECENT DEVELOPMENTS that will be conducted by MR. YANG PEI KENG, a Senior member of the Johore Bar. The Seminar will focus on various aspects of conveyancing practice, including RPGT issues, stamp duty procedure, guidelines and recent developments.

The bio-data of the Speaker
Mr. YANG PEI KENG, or P.K.YANG, as he is popularly known, was called to the Malaysian Bar in 1970. He has been in legal practice for 44 years. He was a partner in the firm of Messrs. Nathan & Yang for 30 years [1970 – 2000]. He is now a Consultant at the law firm of K J Lo & Co. P.K. Yang has served on various Committees of the Bar Council, such as Publications, Conveyancing, Human Rights, Legal Profession and Orang Asli Rights. He has also served in the Conveyancing, Publications and Human Rights Sub-Committees of the Johore Bar Committee.
In addition, he is also a regular contributor of articles, mainly on conveyancing practice and Human Rights in the Bar journals such as INSAF, INFOLINE, PRAXIS, and INFO JOHORE BAR. He has also over the years given talks on Conveyancing Practice, Struggles of the Bar, Ethics and other legal subjects to members of the Bar.
