Please be informed that the Continuing Professional Development and Publications & Information Technology Sub Committees are jointly organising the abovementioned Webinar.
On the 23rd of April 2020, the Court of Appeal, for the first time in history, broadcasted for public viewing the first hearing of an application for stay of execution before the Court. Whilst the general public caught a glimpse of how cases were handled at the Court of Appeal, lawyers are now plagued with concerns on how to ready ourselves with this new development – conducting online hearings.
This webinar shall be by way of a live dialogue session with the Counsels who conducted the online hearing. They will share their experience and process of preparation and the issues or problems they faced. Please do make use of this opportunity to ask the burning questions that you have.
Particulars of the Webinar are as follows:
|Date||5th May 2020 (Tuesday)|
|Time||3:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m|
