About the Speaker
Mr. Manmohan S Dhillon was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 17 August 1990 and is a partner in P S Ranjan & Co since 1997.
He is the legal adviser to patients support groups, medical organisations, hospitals and other healthcare personnel and organisation. He has also been invited to speak at various medico-legal conferences, seminars and meetings and at the Judicial and Legal Training Institute. He has also attended medico-legal seminars and conferences held in various parts of the world.
He has appeared as counsel for claimants, doctors and hospitals in a number of cases which have come up before our courts and has also appeared before the Malaysian Medical Council and the Malaysian Dental Council on behalf of both complainants and doctors. He has also appeared as counsel for doctors who had faced criminal proceedings in court. Apart from appearing as counsel in various medico-legal proceedings involving doctors, hospitals, patients and their next of kin, he is also actively involved in giving legal advice and assistance on medico-legal issues to the various stakeholders in the healthcare industry and to his brethren in the legal profession.
Registration must be accompanied with payment to guarantee your place and is on a first-come first served basis.
Members are allowed to redeem their event vouchers worth RM30.00 per event on a “first come first served basis” limited to the first five [5] registered participants only. The vouchers are transferable. If you are redeeming a voucher belonging to someone else, kindly provide the particulars of the original voucher holder (Name and BC member No.). Members will be required to e-mail the particulars of the voucher holder and name of the participant three [3] days prior to the event to secretariat@johorebar.org.my for verification process. If the voucher has already been redeemed, JBC reserves the absolute right to claim from the member for the costs of the event.
CPD points and Certificate of attendance will be given upon completion of the whole session to participants who have attended until the end of the event.
